An oral implant (likewise called an endosseous dental implant or fixture) is a prosthesis that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to sustain a dental prosthesis such as a crown, bridge, denture, or face prosthesis or to function as an orthodontic support. The basis for modern dental implants is a biological procedure called osseointegration, in which materials such as titanium or zirconia develop an intimate bond to the bone. The implant component is first positioned to ensure that it is likely to osseointegrate, after that a dental prosthetic is included. A variable quantity of recovery time is needed for osseointegration before either the oral prosthetic (a tooth, bridge, or denture) is affixed to the dental implant or an abutment is placed which will certainly hold an oral prosthetic or crown. Success or failure of implants depends primarily on the density and health of the bone and gingival tissues that surround the dental implant, yet also on the health and wellness of the person getting the treatment and drugs which impact the opportunities of osseointegration. The quantity of anxiety that will be placed on the implant and component throughout typical feature is additionally evaluated. Planning the setting and variety of implants is essential to the long-lasting health of the prosthetic since biomechanical forces developed during eating can be significant. The placement of implants is identified by the position and angle of surrounding teeth, by lab simulations or by using computed tomography with CAD/CAM simulations and medical guides called stents. The requirements for long-term success of osseointegrated oral implants are healthy and balanced bone and gingiva. Given that both can atrophy after tooth extraction, pre-prosthetic treatments such as sinus lifts or gingival grafts are sometimes called for to recreate ideal bone and gingiva. The last prosthetic can be either taken care of, where an individual can not get rid of the denture or teeth from their mouth, or removable, where they can eliminate the prosthetic. In each case a joint is connected to the dental implant component. Where the prosthetic is taken care of, the crown, bridge or denture is fixed to the abutment either with lag screws or with oral cement. Where the prosthetic is detachable, a corresponding adapter is put in the prosthetic so that the two items can be safeguarded together. The dangers and complications associated with implant therapy divide into those that occur throughout surgical treatment (such as extreme blood loss or nerve injury, insufficient primary security), those that happen in the very first six months (such as infection and failure to osseointegrate) and those that happen lasting (such as peri-implantitis and mechanical failures). In the presence of healthy and balanced tissues, a well-integrated dental implant with proper biomechanical lots can have 5-year plus survival prices from 93 to 98 percent and 10-to-15-year lifespans for the prosthetic teeth. Long-lasting researches show a 16- to 20-year success (implants enduring without problems or revisions) between 52% and 76%, with difficulties occurring as much as 48% of the moment.

Dr. Syrus Elicus did a fantastic job doing a composite on one of my teeth. I never liked the asymmetrical shape of it and always wanted it to be more square. He did it in like 15 minutes! Thank you so much Dr Syrus I am so happy with my result.

I loved my experience here. Every single member of their staff was excellent, kind, pleasant and knowledgable. There is an ease of the place, a peaceful one, not only in their energy but also in their holistic approach. It was my first time being treated with airflow and it was a wonderful experience. This provider gives me great confidence as my health is everything, we only have one body and as we are learning, oral care is a huge component of that. Thank you to all the staff at Dental Health and Wellness Newport.

The staff is thoughtful, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. The dentists spend plenty of time explaining and showing what is happening in your mouth. It was wonderful to not feel like they were rushing just to move on to the next patient. I felt that my concerns and questions were worth answering and that what I had to say was valuable. I highly recommend Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness.

I have been a patient at Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness for about 4 years now. I am very thankful for this dental office. The staff is excellent! The office manager and other office staff, the assistants, hygenists, and dentists.... they are all excellent! I feel very comfortable and confident in knowing that this is a staff that is concerned about my oral health. I recently brought my oldest child here as well for a tooth extraction and the service and treatment that he received was excellent. I used to drive to Beverly Hills but today I went to the Newport Beach office and I am so thankful that the drive is closer for me now!!! You will be in good hands. The service and treatment is excellent!!!

Avoid Beverly Hills Dental Health and Wellness—overpriced, dishonest, and unprofessional. Rude & Incompetent Staff: The front desk, especially office manager Leeshane, is extremely rude, hangs up on patients, and lies about billing. I’ve spent months trying to fix an insurance issue due to their incorrect Tax ID, which caused multiple claim rejections. They claimed to resubmit my claim 10+ times, but Delta Dental only received two incorrect submissions. Hidden Costs & Deceptive Practices: Came in for an X-ray, but they performed a Cone Beam CT Scan without telling me the price or that it wasn’t a standard X-ray. They never explain what they’re doing or what it will cost until you get the bill. Mediocre Dental Work at Insane Prices: Extremely overpriced for average at best dental care. They focus on money, not patients. 🚨 This place is a scam. If you value your money and sanity, STAY AWAY!
